What is The Village Closet?
The Village Closet is a community boutique created to restore dignity, confidence, and hope.
It’s not a handout — it’s a shopping experience where individuals and families can select what they need through a voucher-based system, giving them the freedom to choose items that reflect their personal style and pride.
Whether someone is preparing for a job interview, starting over after hardship, or rebuilding after a fire or loss — The Village Closet offers clothing that helps them show up with confidence and grace.
What is Second Time Around?
Second Time Around is our sister boutique — a curated shop for those “signature pieces” we all have.
You know the ones — that dress worn once, those shoes saved for a special occasion, or that blazer you loved but never wore again.
Here, those one-time-worn or gently used pieces get a second chance to do good.
They’re resold at affordable prices, and 100% of proceeds go directly toward purchasing new undergarments, socks, and essential clothing in hard-to-find sizes — items that can’t be donated but are always needed.
